Named placements. One sponsor per slot. Coverage stays independent of who buys space.
Advertising does not buy stories, headlines, or desk assignment. Table & Garden, Local Business, and the other desks stay editorially independent of who buys space. Dining guides and shop features are not paid placement. If a published story overlaps an advertiser’s business, the story will say so.
Talbot Patriot LLC is not a 501(c)(3). Gifts are not charitable contributions under IRS rules and do not generate a tax-deductible receipt. Advertising purchases are business transactions, not donations. This site does not give tax, legal, or accounting advice. Ask your own advisor before you give or book an ad.
While a slot is unsold, the live site shows a distinct placeholder line for that product (so a buyer touring the site can tell placements apart). Each empty unit links here.
Front-page sponsor
One name. On the homepage: atop Top Stories and at the foot of the Sections rail. The same Sections-rail unit stays the front-page sponsor while readers browse section indexes. It does not appear on story pages.

Desk sponsors (four slots)
Civic Affairs, Arts & Makers, State & Region, and Bayside Bleachers — one name each. Civic, Arts, and State appear on that desk’s homepage well and section page. Bayside Bleachers uses the shared homepage well bar and the Bayside Bleachers section page. Desk sponsors do not take over the Sections rail.
