EASTON, MARYLAND — October’s film week is close enough that the good seats won’t wait.

The Chesapeake Film Festival’s own site dates the 19th season to Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 8–10, 2026, in downtown Easton. It says the festival will showcase 47 independent films at the Ebenezer Theater, the Academy Art Museum, and the Talbot County Free Library. VIP all-access tickets are listed at $175 and are on sale now, covering screenings plus the VIP reception and filmmaker events described on the page.

Discover Easton’s listing matches the Oct. 8–10 window and the three-venue frame. This is not a review of any title and not an endorsement of every film on the slate. It is a local push to put the week on the family calendar while tickets are still a click away.
